Hello Dolls and Gents,

Today, I am bring you another buy it or leave it, but it is the infamous Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation. There was a lot of hype around this, but there we also a lot of mixed reviews. I tried the old one before and I have say I like it, but I never purchased it. Now, that the Ultra HD is out is better than the old formula.

I have tried this foundation twice. When this foundation first released with the new formula, it looked like the colour shade I was in the old formula looked darker. So I tried R520 - Cinnamon to see if it was a better match for me.  R520 - Cinnamon was a tad to light for me, but I could get away with it. I went back to Sephora and got a sample in  R530=180 - Brown and it was a better match for my skin tone. If you like to know my thoughts on this foundation, just keep on reading.

I like this foundation. I think it like a better than the old formula. I got a sample of the old formula before and I found that it gave me a natural finish, but I would get oily quickly, or maybe that was because I did not have the right primer. Makeup Forever suggest using the Step 1 Equalizer primers with the Ultra HD for the best results. When I got the sample of this foundation, I tried how the MUFE recommend it and I love how it wore on my face. The consistency of this foundation is more thinner than the old formula and the coverage is medium to buildable. You can build this foundation and it will not look cakey on your face.  I found that the foundation dries to a semi-matte finish on my face, not really a natural finish.  The real test was with my oily t-zone, my oils did not come through until maybe 6 or 7th hours. It photo beautifully, your skin literally look flawless in photos and I does not look like you are wearing foundation.

I love this foundation and will be purchasing this in the full size in the near feature. I really love it looks on my skin. I know that there are a lot of mixed reviews, but every products works different on different people, so what I love, you may hate. This is hands down is the best foundation to have when you know that you will be taking a lot of photos.
