Hello Dolls and Gents,

Today, I am going to discuss about another Marc Jacobs  foundation. When this foundation was released there was a lot of hype about it from my vanilla sister, however my chocolate sisters had a different opinion.  I went to Sephora to pick up a sample of this foundation, luckily this foundation was part of my old Color IQ results. Anyways, I got a sample of 86 Cocoa Deep. I tried this foundation for a few days. I made sure I didn't wear it every single day, but alternate, so I can have enough to last for the time I was testing it out.  To know more of more thoughts, just keep reading.

What is it :
An ultra-lightweight, oil-free foundation concentrate that delivers 24 hours of full-coverage wear.

What it does:

Featuring a revolutionary oil-free formula that contains twice as much pigment as a leading full-coverage foundation, it’s infused with innovative ingredients that completely cover with spot-on perfection. It’s enriched with Marc Jacobs’ patented golden pigments that are wrapped in lecithin—an ingredient that’s biochemically similar to skin—for immediate, effortless blending and a smooth, soft matte finish. This foundation has a one-of-a-kind dot applicator that allows for custom coverage. Just shake, dot, and blend for perfectly-matte coverage.

How to Use:
  • Shake Re(marc)able.
  • Using the dot applicator, place three to four dots on the face. For best results, start with less and blend before adding more

This foundation retails for $69 CAD per 0.75 oz, which is less that an average foundation, which is 1 oz.

I absolutely love this foundation.  The coverage on this foundation is ridiculous full coverage. I often do not do go for full coverage, I always stick to medium coverage. This foundation is similar to the CoverFX Custom Drops.  I agree that a little goes a long way. You do not need a lot of this foundation to get a full cover. I found when I did apply a lot, it look a bit heavy. Now, the true test is my oily t-zone. This foundation lasted well in my t-zone. Obviously, I was wearing a primer with this foundation, but my oils did not come through fully until the 7th or 8th hour and I have long days of school.  It controlled my oily nose pretty well, my forehead did not get super oily, but some oily did come through. The rest of my face that was not oily look perfect.  It matches me perfectly. A lot of chocolate sister, says that the foundation has a grey cast to it. I didn't find that for me, but again it was react different to different skin types.

I love this foundation, I will definitely be purchasing this foundation in the near future.  I would wear this foundation if I was going to an event, but not a everyday basis, it's to expensive for that. I would recommend anyone who is oily or combination skin to use a primer. For my dry skin girls, I don’t know if you would like to foundation. It is very matte, I would go for something more luminous. I also recommend that everyone get a sample of this foundation, before purchasing it. It important that you love the foundation before you go fork out $69 bucks for it.

P.S. I know that my first impression of foundation is difficulty to understand when you do not have a picture of my foundation applied, but I will started doing that so you can see the wear of the foundation better.

I hope this was helpful to some of you and I hope some of you just discovered a new foundation. Please don't forget to comment, share and become a follower. It is free!
